1 qt half and half 5 eggs 3 tbls vanilla 8 oz caramel syrup 2 cups sugar dash of salt 1/4 gallon 1% milk on stovetop combine half and half, sugar, caramel, vanilla, whisked eggs and salt. heat it for 30 mins, do not bring to a boil. cool in refrigerator for several hours. add milk and blend in an ice cream mixer.

Ronald Vaubel Des Moines Funeral services for Ronald K. Vaubel will be 11 a.m. Friday at the West Des Moines Christian Church. Ronald served in the US Army Air Corps and owned a contracting company. Survivors include two brothers, Loren of Ft. Dodge and Kenneth of Webster City. He was preceded in death by his wife, Stella.

Krista's First B-Day Announcement
In March our baby Kristina joined our family, April brought newborn smiles that we just loved to see. Krista started babbling her baby talk in May, June came fast, and Krista learned from Caylie how to play.
